I had Japanese food in Idaho once and I figured it would be better than the Japanese food I had in Raleigh NC, since Idaho is closer to Japan. I was wrong.

ditto Lawson’s.  There was precisely one Lawson’s in my area decades ago, which quickly folded and became a 7-11.

Japanese food quality here runs from inedible to gourmet to omokase. We tried a few before we found our go-to 2 blocks away.

Oh yeah 7/11 is quite good in Japan, I used to stop at one every morning. They are proud of the bread there, all the tasty stuff to eat with your morning drink. I did get my coffee at Segafredo Zanetti though. It’s actually a separate company now from what I remember, yeah I found it, Seven & I Holdings Co., Ltd
